Check if your phone supports eSIM before buying a European travel plan.
iPhone: Settings → General → About → look for EID number. Android: Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs → Add SIM. If the option exists, eSIM is supported.

Pixel 3 and newer all support eSIM. This includes Pixel 3a, 4, 4a, 5, 5a, 6, 6a, 7, 7a, 8, 8a, and Pixel 9 series.
Razr 40/40 Ultra, Edge 40/40 Pro support eSIM. Moto G series generally does not.
Xiaomi 13/14 International editions support eSIM. Chinese variants and Redmi models generally do not.
OnePlus 12 and newer support eSIM in select markets. Older models lack support.
